Finish options

Choose a smooth trowel finish for a modern look, broom or salt finish for traction near pools, or stamped and colored concrete that echoes flagstone or wood plank without the maintenance.

Our process

  1. 01

    Call and talk it through

    Tell us what you want poured, where, and how it will be used. We ask the questions that shape scope and finish.

    Site walk and plan

    We look at grade, drainage, access and existing concrete, then agree on layout, thickness, reinforcement and finish.

  3. 03

    Prep, form and reinforce

    Excavation, compacted base, forms set to elevation, and reinforcement placed before any truck arrives.

  4. 04

    Pour, finish and cure

    Placed, screeded, finished and jointed by hand. We explain cure timing so you know when to walk, drive and seal.

Can a patio be added to an existing slab?

Yes. We can extend an existing patio with proper dowels and joints so the new section performs with the old one.

Will the patio slope away from the house?

It should, and ours do. Positive drainage away from the foundation is part of every patio plan we build.
